The term “good enough for government work” has come to mean mediocre or sloppy work.
But I’m not willing to settle for “good enough” from government employees and agencies! After all, we pay good money through fees and taxes for government services.
There are, of course, a number of bright, dedicated, hard-working people in governemnt. But there are also some slugs that need to be fired!
Let’s recognize the good ones and get rid of the bad ones, and support managers and elected officials who want to build a culture of excellence and accountability in government.
